USA’s 278th Independence Day: On the 4th of July, The United States of America is going to celebrate its 278th Independence Day. In 1776 on the 4th of July American colonies gained independence from British rule. Since then, the 4th of July has been celebrated as one of the most important days in the USA. This year the people of the great nation are going to celebrate the USA’s 278th Independence Day with parades, carnival political speeches and a lot of ceremonies, fairs, picnic concerts, baseball games and family reunions. The Independence Day of the United States is a national day of the United States.

The History of the USA’s Independence:

On 4th July 1776, the Continental Congress adopted the Declaration of Independence, a document drafted by Thomas Jefferson that condemned the principles and policies of colonists and their resolution to establish an independent nation and this historical declaration created the official break from British rule and created the foundation for the United States of America. 

The first step of independence was created by the American colony who started the protest for Liberty and freedom from British rule. The 13 Colony, was suffering from the British policies and was being hampered in daily life and their struggle and fight for freedom would forever be saved in the course of the history of the independence of the United States. The Revolutionary War fought between 1775 and 1783, became the first step for the birth of the great nation. 

What will be open? During USA’s 278th Independence Day:

  • FedEx will offer modified service in the FedEx office but according to our source, FedEx custom critical will remain open. 
  • Most grocery stores under Kroger which includes Fred Meyer, Dillons, Food 4 Less, Ralphs and QFC will be open during their regular hours on July 4. Walmart and Target will also maintain regular operating hours, as per CNN.
  • Online banking services and ATMs will be available for the people. Capital One cafes full stay operation for basic banking knees and services. 
  • Trader Joe’s locations will close at 5:00 p.m. but most whole food stores will be open during normal hours. 
  • Major pharmacy chains like CVS and Walgreens will be open and some locations might have adjusted hours. 
  • All the picnic parks all the museums and zoos will be open.

What will be closed? During USA’s 278th Independence Day:

  • All the important offices like the federal office will be closed including from the legislature to the courthouse. 
  • And like this federal office, the State office will also be closed including courts to the legislature. 
  • As per USA Today all measure banks including Capital One Bank of America JP Morgan Chase Citibank will be closed. 
  • The stock market will be closed, and the Nasdaq and the York Stock Exchange will also remain closed.
  • On 4th July post offices and their services will be closed. There will be no mail delivery, caller service or post office box service available for the holiday.
  • All the libraries and the Motor vehicle department will be closed.
