Mother nature is so beautiful and provides every essential thing we need to live a beautiful life. How El Nino and La Nina are affecting the Indian climate? We will be discussing this in the news article. From the beginning of our creation to now we have faced many mysterious things that Mother Nature has created. Mother nature has given us oxygen, water, food, beautiful mountains, rivers and oceans, and many beautiful things for our habitation.

HOW EL NINO AND LA NINA AFFECT:
But from the era of civilization, the human being has been exploring the limitations of our mother nature. And this is the reason that we are facing a lot of problems nowadays. One of the worst impacts the human beings are facing is complex weather patterns and currently, climate change globally has been one of the most important topics for every country.
Among these problems, El Nino and La Nina are the major problems that many countries are facing nowadays. This complex weather pattern causes global changes in the earth’s climate and understanding each phenomenon is vital in predicting and preparing for their impact. Currently, India is facing heavy rainfall. Many states of India are flooded.
Many people have lost their homes, houses there every essentials. And because of heavy rains in the hilly areas, we have just seen a few days ago about the massive landslide in India’s Kerala state. At least 123 people have been killed and dozens are still trapped. And lots of people are still homeless.
The landslide occurred in the hilly area in Wayanad district at night when most of the people were sleeping. Operations are still going on. Kerala has been a place that is continuously facing landslides in 2018 because of landslides more than 400 people died. Heavy rain has been a major cause of death in Kerala.

India’s other state which is called Himachal Pradesh is also facing heavy rain now and we have already got a lot of reports from our sources in India that a lot of landslides are happening in the state and a lot of people are being homeless. Cloudburst is the main reason for the heavy rain in hilly areas.
Maharashtra, a state in India, is also flooded because of the heavy rain. Some other states like West Bengal, the Northeastern region of India like Manipur Assam and the capital of India are also facing heavy rain and heavy rain has been the reason for floods and floods have been the reason of the death of people and many people are homeless because of floods.
As we are getting updates the rain will increase in India after the 8th of August because of the effect of El Nino and La Nina it will continue till the middle of September. And there is a possibility of flooding in many states in India.
But the question is what is a Lelo and La lina?
The term El Nino translates to “the little boy “in Spanish and refers to a weather pattern categorised by warm Ocean temperatures. It refers to an unusual warming of the central and eastern Pacific Ocean around the equator, directly affecting global weather patterns. The heat directly affects the ocean water transfer to the atmosphere impacting wind patterns and that is the cost of creating a lot of clouds with heavy rain worldwide.
Other hand La Nina means the little girl and is known as the opposite phase of El Nino. It means cooler than average Ocean surface temperature in the eastern specific ocean. The conditions created by El Nino play a significant role in wind and weather patterns around the globe.
The Effect of La Niña:
La Niña phenomena generally result in the cooler climate in various parts of the world. Unlike El Niño, it brings more than average rainfall to the Southeast Asian region and northern Brazil leading to floods. At the same time, it often causes drought conditions in the Northern Australia region. For the equatorial Pacific, this weather pattern can lead to warmer surface waters, which is opposite from what happens during an El Niño event.
El Niño and La Niña – A Pattern of Extremes:
Both El Niño and La Niña are not just meteorological occurrences; they carry significant implications for various climactic, environmental, and agricultural systems. They induce weather extremes such as droughts, floods, storms, and hurricanes, impacting the socio economic balance around the world. Crops in several parts of the world may be adversely affected, leading to food shortages and affecting food prices worldwide.
Preparing for the Impact:
Understanding these phenomena is crucial for farmers, economies, and policymakers. Accurate predictions enable countries to prepare mitigation strategies and disaster management plans. It can also help in forestalling negative impacts on agriculture, public health, and water supplies, which are often hit hard by the extreme weather events associated with El Niño and La Niña.
So the world should understand that weather change is the cause of destroying the ecosystem of Mother Nature. We should devolve our civilization but not by breaking the balance of the ecosystem and hampering the balance of the world’s climate.
