ABOUT THE THE MAN:
The name of the man is Daisuke Hori and he is a 40-year-old entrepreneur from Hyogo, Japan, has claimed that he has been practising this sleep schedule for 12 years now and he feels good and it has also increased his work efficiency. At the very beginning of this abnormal schedule, he started to reduce his sleep time to only 30 to 45 minutes a day.
According to an interview with the South China Morning Post, he said “As long as you do sports or drink coffee an hour before eating you can Stave off drowsiness”. He has also pointed out that high-quality sleep is more important than sleep duration “People who need sustained focus in their work benefit more from high-quality sleep than a long sleep. For instance doctors and firefighters have shorter rest periods but maintain high efficiency”

Till now this guy has changed around 2200 students to become ultra-short sleepers. After going viral about his sleep pattern it is being discussed so much on social media and on any platform about the actual need of sleep or whether these kinds of short sleep patterns are risky or not.

Actually, health experts for a healthy life 6 to 8 hours of sleep at night is so much essential and if one does not have the time to sleep 8 hours or 9 hours then the person should have at least 6 hours of proper sleep.
According to some doctors, extremely little sleep can harm your body. It can cause chronic sleep illness that affects one’s body’s immunity and hard problems as we have mentioned before.
Some doctors say there are a few ways to decrease the duration of sleep by taking some medication or having extra caffeine or some exercises but sleeping only 30 minutes a day is extreme and it is not possible for people to maintain the schedule without any physical or mental effects.
